The picture behind it shows the four restored CA&E wood cars at the Museum, starting with #309, which was built by the Hicks Locomotive and Car Works in 1907.

Our Current Projects
CA&E 36, 308, 309, and 319
For 2024, the 36, 309, and 319 should be available for revenue service. The 308 has a bad motor, but work to make it operational again is underway.
Shaker Heights 18
The 18 is operational; repairs and repainting are now underway.

This car is being repainted.

Two elderly Chicago rapid transit cars together at the Illinois Railway Museum recently - with the left elderly car displaying the "W" win Chicago cub flag in its window.
Both of those cars were still in regular service the last time a World Series game was played at Wrigley Field. The car on the left, was brand new the last time the Cubs won a World Series
