Calling all collectors! IRM is looking for WABCO M15 brake handles, of the type shown above, so that we have a spare or two in case we need one. These are typically solid cast iron, and you'll note that the D-shaped hole for the stem is at a 90-degree angle compared with the more common M22/M23 handle. What kind of car would these go to?
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking! For us, these are used on the CA&E wood cars 36, 308, and 309. There were other interurban cars that used this particular type of brake valve, but nothing that operates here.
