All of these have been scrapped. See my article in R&W 225 for details, or various Internet sources.
In my opinion, the 2000s don't match now. The paint has faded to a whitish gray, where there's still any paint on them (the roofs have been almost bare for years). Look at Frank's picture- they stick out. Perhaps the solution to avoid visual offense is to keep them by themselves :-)
The paint job should keep well, as they will have an indoor home when the new barns are built.
R. W. That's how I remember the cars and I'm looking forward to seeing them in the spring.

BobAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1810478746663531557.post-89683421441575317532014-09-29T15:46:48.931-05:002014-09-29T15:46:48.931-05:00Now those 2000s won't "match" IRM...Now those 2000s won't "match" IRM's other train compatible cars. But whatever happens, both 2000s should at least match each other.Chrisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1810478746663531557.post-5596263791072592152014-09-29T09:56:26.053-05:002014-09-29T09:56:26.053-05:00How about a 2000 series in the Bicentennial livery...How about a 2000 series in the Bicentennial livery?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
