I spent most of my time yesterday working on the 205. The hope is that we'll be able to switch it over to the pit lead sometime in the next few weeks to finish the last of the needle-chipping, but we'll see - stay tuned! In the meantime I cut the last of the "window sticks" needed for the door windows to length; these won't be installed until we obtain the pane of glass needed to replace the PEPCO drop-sash that was removed a few weeks ago. I also installed and primed a strip of tar paper around the tack molding at the west end of the car to even out the bottom edge of the roof line. This completes tar-papering on the roof; the next step is to paint everything green and then we can obtain and install roof boards, trolley bases and poles. The 308 and 309 were also operating, as shown in the previous blog post, so of course I had to take a few photos...
...and video!
Does anyone know if the IT 277/518 will be ready for Museum Showcase Weekend? Moreover, has anyone heard if Inglehome will be on the coach train? I am looking forward to riding the 308/309!

We will do more inspection on the 277 tomorrow (Saturday) and should be able to give you an answer then. The results, when we know them, will be posted here so don't touch that dial! As for the Inglehome, I couldn't say. The 308 and 309 should be running unless it rains.
