Canvas Pliers


A friend of IRM who lives in Florida just sent us this nice pair of canvas pliers for use on canvas roofs. Notice the wide grip for pulling the canvas evenly. It always helps to have the right tools for the job. Thanks!!!

    Is this a custom-made tool? Or, is it available from a commercial source?

    You can purchase them through amazon as well as art supply houses like dick blick. They are used for stretching canvas onto frames for artists.

    Also used in the upholstery business, in fact they might be heavier duty then the art supply version.
