SATISFACTION, No. 1 of a Series
There are few things in life as satisfying as the feeling of accomplishment and achievement. On Sunday, while we were waiting in Schmidt Siding, I caught Randy taking a moment to admire his hard work. The image speaks for itself.
Nice shot there, David. It is calendar picture worthy. Maybe the car dept should do like the steam dept and raise funds with its own monthly calendar this year.
Ed: Sure. Both types have a large bus jumper for the main 600V supply. The steel cars have a smaller jumper for the buzzer circuit, so that all buzzers in the train sound whenever a cord is pulled. On the wood cars, the buzzer circuit is part of the control jumper, which is below the floor.

ReplyDeleteThe steel cars have plugs for two bus jumper cables while the wood cars have only one. Could someone explain this to me?
