While we were in Minneapolis visiting friends, I didn't have much time for railfanning. But we did ride the new light-rail Green Line to St. Paul.

The RDC car is one of the two cab control cars from the New Haven "Roger Williams" train that was acquired by Patrick McGinnis along with a Talgo built by ACF and a very similar train built by Pullman Standard for service between New York City and Boston but this is the only one of the three that lasted more than a year in service.

The heavy duty versions of those tents seem to last a long time at places that never take them down. They might be good for setting up over service repair tracks or for paint spraying rolling stock.
