Roof Canvas Painting

Painting the new canvas on the 319 started today.  About 3/4 of the canvas was covered with a first coat before time ran out.

It's amazing how much of this thin paint the canvas can soak up.  Between 7 and 8 gallons were required to do 3/4 of the roof, and even then, some sections still look rather light grey.  But at least two more coats will be required, so this process will take a while.

This afternoon, though, I started to hear occasional screams of fear in the distance.  I have no idea what that was about, but I was filled with terror at the sound.  Wouldn't you be?  It would be a real relief if anyone can identify what was happening....
