Father's Day

For Father's Day we decided to stop out at the Museum late in the afternoon to see what was happening.  Earlier I'd gotten a call from Frank, reporting a problem with the 308.  But that was easily diagnosed over the phone, and by the time we got there, the problem had been fixed and the wood cars were ready for service again.

So let's go for a ride on the 308.  We seemed to have a good crowd of visitors.

Bob Opal and Jeff Obarek shared operating the train; here Jeff comes down the aisle punching tickets.

And the steam train was running again, always a crowd pleaser.

Recognize this cramped little cab, with its shiny controls?

That's right, it's the Electroliner, and here are John Arroyo and Ed Oslowski proudly showing off their work.

And long-time friends Norm Krentel, John Naglich, and Jeff Brady, in front of the 28.

  1. Randy,
Happy Father's day to you! It is not every father who has raised an Electric
    Railway web master and historian!
