The Cincinnati streetcar system was unusual in that most of it had a dual overhead, so the cars all had double trolley poles, like a trolley bus. (There were also some single wire sections, so of course one pole would be hooked down.) And we have here several pictures of the Mt. Adams incline, which lifted the cars up a steep grade on a platform, which you can see here.
