Perhaps the most noticeable change today was that the 306 now has canvas! Tim put it on the car yesterday, using the portable lift, and fastened it down with our supply of clamps and ratchets, as we saw with the 453 earlier this year.
Later the 306 crew spent some time restringing the clamps at each end to pull more canvas out lengthwise.
I continued work on the 714 lobster traps. All of them at the #2 end were trimmed, and two of the five have now been caulked in place. I just need to find more black caulk. And three more sections of saddle for the #1 end were cut and sanded to shape.
I also started on making a frame for bending the slats, when they get made.
Tim continued to work on the end of the 2872, and various other projects were going on. Jon F. was working on the 65.
Here Buzz is making new window frames for the Milwaukee Road caboose 5001.
