More Doodlebug Progress

Gregg sends us another report on his very thorough restoration of the M-35:

Since the last report, the lower wall areas around windows 13 and 14 were exposed. The usual dirt and rust were removed. The horse hair insulation has already been disposed of.

The wall and pipes were sanded and then a coat of damp proof red primer applied.

Today the area received the standard tile red paint.

Earlier in the week, the upper areas above windows 15 through 17 had the insulation applied. Two of them have the sheet metal covering over the 'pink panther' insulation. More panels are being prepared for the rest of windows.

The lower area was finish painted today, also.
