Good progress has continued on the roof mats for the 714. All of the slats are now in place and fastened down, although the bottom two still need some adjustments.
I started by fitting the final seven slats at the top of the #1 end, as seen here.
And it was warm enough for caulk, so I was able to tack down the rain gutters beneath the slats.
Some of the holes need to be redrilled so the screws will go in all the way, but beyond that the structure is pretty much complete. There's still a lot of painting to be done, of course, and the rope guards still need to be installed. But that's about it. And so I spent some time storing the bending frames and other parts to clear up space on the workbenches in the shop.
Tim continues to refinish parts of the 1808, and here we have a nice shiny new finish on the door.
Gerry also continued heavy structural work on the end of the car.
And John is doing a careful job on painting all of the window frames for the 306.
Jon Fenlaciki was working on the interior of the 65, but I didn't get a picture.
And finally, the roof framing of the North Western building is being assembled.
