Wednesday Miscellany

Buzz sent me these pictures from last Wednesday.  Somehow they wound up in the trash bin, but I luckily noticed them before emptying it.

Jeff and the Heavy Lift guys sanded and repainted the CNW flatcar that accompanies the CNW crane. Quite a change from a month ago. Lettering by Buzz.

And while out I caught our Track Department at work loading the ballast train:

Ted Miles knows how to push the right buttons.  He pointed out that American Flyer used a C&NW flatcar just like ours as the basis for many different loads.  You can make an entire work train.

  1. One of the most popular flat cars in the American Flyer world was a C&NW car like that one. They built it with many different loads from a tank to autos to lumber. TM who likes American Flyer and the IRM
