Gregg Wolfersheim continues on his restoration of the UP M-35 doodlebug:
With the inner walls now painted, I was able to fit some insulation below window 13. Number 14 needs a piece of trim first, which is now in the pre paint position.
Window number 16 is in primer after fixing a corner. Various pieces of trim
are pictured in primer. Soon a top coat of paint will be applied.
Some of the window quarter round pieces have just been painted. In the forefront is window number 17. It is in kit form. The side and top pieces are salvageable. However, the bottom piece (right side), is rotten. A stick of mahogany was procured and a replacement will be made next week.
I just re-read last years Blogs; and did not see any pictures of the model railroad layouts in the new Multi-Purpose Building. Now that they are running, can you show us what they look like? I guess they are mighty big!
