GB&W 109 Progress Report

Thanks to our intrepid cub reporter Gregg Wolfersheim, who has sent along a new batch of photos of Green Bay & Western 109. This is the wooden passenger car that is still being worked on in Barn 4.

Painting has commenced below the letter board.

Most of the south side of the car is green above the sill.

A close-up view.

The north side has the letterboard painted. There has been a lot of epoxy applied to the sill area, as well as other spots, too.

I have a special liking for this passenger car because of the special green glass above the windows. Mostly it is gone from such wood cars. TM Long time IRM Member

I forgot say; what kind of seats are going in the car? There are lots of Chicago elevated seats available or will something more authentic be installed? TM Still an IRM Member
