One of our hard-working California correspondents, Tony Gura, sends us warm wishes from sunny California. While in Chicago this past week, he took these pictures of the CTA Holiday Train. This is, of course, not a substitute for our own Happy Holiday Railway, but if you're stuck in the city on a weekday, it's the only such thing available.
And then he adds: My dad's Christmas trains are slightly smaller, having been declared the
"world's smallest under the Christmas tree O Gauge layout". Have a Merry Christmas!

Somewhat similar to the Schuster's Christmas parade that TM used to run on the streetcar tracks in Milwaukee when I was but a wee lad.
opps forgot to add I am C Kronenwetter who did indeed see the Schuster's parade many moons ago.
