Our good friend Zach Ehlers sends along the exciting news that the replica Chicago Surface Lines hat badges are nearly complete! They should arrive soon, and those of us who pre-ordered can pick ours up. If you didn't pre-order, don't worry, you haven't lost your chance - a small number of extras were made and are available for $75 each. Proceeds go toward the restoration of CSL cars at IRM. It should be pointed out that Zach did quite a lot of work not just to ensure the badges are accurate, but also to recreate the "badge ticket" card that is enclosed with each of them. This is a recreation of original CSL passes issued to employees. One of these cards will be included with each badge. The hat is not included.
