We are once again saddened to hear of the death of an old friend, Chuck Amstein, who as many of you may remember often provided us with great photographic coverage of various events at IRM and around the country. He was an enthusiastic railfan, an excellent photographer, and a great guy to know. We will certainly miss him. He took great pictures of IRM, other railfanning sites, and even the famous Steam Dept. galas at San Filippo!
It's easy to get a good view of his work: all you have to do is type the word "Amstein" into the search box at the top of the blog, and you will get post after post after post of photos by Chuck. It just goes on and on. As I say, he will certainly be missed.
