North Shore Album, Part 2

Thanks to Art Peterson for sending us more pictures of IRM cars on their original lines from the Krambles-Peterson archives.  We continue with North Shore Line cars 714, 749, and 757.

This is the 714, which I believe is in traction orange, dating it to the late 1920s to late 1930s.

The 714 at Highwood on Jan. 1st, 1946.  Photo by Tom Desnoyers.

The 749 newly delivered from Pullman in 1928.

Northbound at Dempster,  July 4th, 1944, by George Krambles.

Interior of the 749, undated but possibly in the 1940s when it was modernized prior to the advent of the "Silverliner" program.
