My father is celebrating a milestone birthday today! I won't say quite how old he is, but here's a picture of him in 1954, proving (if there was any doubt to begin with) that his interest in railroading has been lifelong.

Happy birthday Randy Hicks.

Thanks. Nowadays I would know better than to wear shorts for a cab ride.
We have all made fashion mistakes especially when mom was picking our wardrobe. There was a photo of me on the internet taken in 1976 at 11 years old wearing red, white and blue pants at East Troy.
Stay safe!

Here I thought my brother and I were the only kids (with our dad) who ever discovered the Illinois Midland. Now I have to dig out the photos. Happy birthday, Randy!
Got to met him on a couple of occasions. Happy birthday to him and all the best to you and your family!
