On the last fantrip before regular service ended, on May 19, 1957, our old friend the late Bob Heinlein took this picture of the 309 and 310 standing next to the Warrenville substation. Over the years IRM acquired two signs from this building, and one of them has been on display in Barn 6 for years.
Recently the Museum arranged to send the other one to the Warrenville Historical Society in exchange for a cash donation, and they have it on display now in their building, and are very happy about it!

It's always satisfying to be able to make mutually beneficial arrangements like this with other historical organizations. And my amazing psychic powers tell me there will be more soon!
