OK, so you're too old for Santa Claus. You're never too old to enjoy the holidays by fantripping the CTA on a nice charter trip with other fans.
This year's Snowflake Special will be on Sunday, December 30th, and there are two trips: one from about 11am to 3pm, and one from 5pm to 9pm. Both trips begin and end at Harlem and Lake. We hope to use the holiday train minus the flatcar, but that's not guaranteed. Prices are a low, low $30 for one trip or $55 for both. See all the details and order tickets here. Thanks for mentioning the Snowflake Special, Randy. Just to clarify one thing- we have booked and been confirmed to use the 6-car Holiday Train. The reason for the disclaimer "CTA reserves the right to substitute equipment" is because, you know, stuff happens.
