One milllion and counting

We don't keep a very close eye on our stats, but we just noticed that about a week ago we hit a big milestone: one million visits since the blog was first started in February 2008. Many thanks to all of you for your support and for continuing to read along!

Only a million? It feels like I have visited your page millions of times over the past few years. Anyways keep up the good work. Every post is worth tuning in for.

I found this blog site a few months ago looking for the different IRM electric trains. My thanks for your nearly daily update at the museum, especially the electric's.

Will: I have always been a little suspicious of the various terms they use, and the details about page views and return visits and so forth. But since we're not selling advertising or putting out "click bait", it's only of academic interest, so to speak. The real payback from doing all this comes when we get comments or questions, or when we meet people out at the Museum who enjoy reading the blog. You never know, we might keep it going a bit longer.

I live in Oregon so visiting and helping out at the museum is problematic for me. Your blog is the first thing I check out every day. I have made financial contributions to a couple of the electric car funds because of your blog. So your blog helps the equipment
besides educating us readers. Chris Wagner

The Covid-19 has given me the time to go back and read the early posts. You have done a great job covering the IRM's Electric Department and the other major occasions at the museum. Thank you for all that you do!
