Many thanks to Richard Schauer for sending along another update of progress on CTA trolley bus 9631:
Although not much has changed in the appearance of the 9631 since last week, the whole lower section is now sanded smooth, ready for primer.
Work is now concentrating on getting the upper section to the same state; it doesn't need any heavy body work, but there are a number of small areas that need this or that. The shop was again busy and wasn't able to spend a ton of time on it- I noted a surfeit of banged-up trucks in the parking lot from one of their corporate customers again.
