Fireworks won't be the only things sizzling this July 4th! Grab your family and head to the Illinois Railway Museum for our Annual Trolley Parade with a special twist. Over 40 of our favorite trolleys will shoot across our scenic mainline, including the Illinois Central pantograph equipped cars, interurbans, rapid transit trains, streetcars, and electric freight from many eras and geographic locations. Be the first to see our authentic two-car South Shore Line train. Multiple-car interurban trains from all three Insull interurban lines will be operating, including both wood and steel CA&E cars. Nowhere else can you feel the ground shake and hear the rumble of traction motors as our colorful collection roars past. We promise this event will be a once-in-a-lifetime spectacular!
