Work progressed nicely again yesterday, but nothing worth taking a picture of, so this will be brief.
Rod rebuilt a leaky motorman's valve from the 36 and made a new gasket. It was installed and tested, and worked perfectly, so we're ready for revenue service on Friday and Saturday. For Friday, we're thinking we'll only need two cars, so I made up the 36 and 308 and uncoupled them from the 309. And I installed an arm rest in the 308 which had been taken home for repair. For the pageant, of course, we'll have all three cars and seats for 152 people. You could be one of them.
And then it was a great day for working on the roof of the 319 -- not too hot! I finished nearly all of the upper edge of the lower canvas, and then started tacking down the lower edge. Inch by inch, step by step....

As a matter of course, the bad retriever on 309 has been replaced by your Wheaton Shop.
