This will be brief. Friday was a quiet day, but progress continues on the lobster traps. I installed the rest of the slats that had been bent; there are still four to go, as there will be a total of 19 and we have only 15 forms. But it's starting to look complete.
I removed the two slats at the bottom and put them back in the forms to keep them bent, so I could install the drip rails which will be hidden under the slats.
And then a straightedge is used to mark where the slats should be trimmed so that they will be nice and even.
For the two bottom slats, extra bending will be necessary.
So that's going along well. Meanwhile, Tim continued work on the doors for the 1808.
