Gregg Wolfersheim continues his steady progress on rebuilding the IT line car:

Work has started on the south side of the line car. The old
siding was removed and some rotted framing was cut out. The window sill was
missing for many years and everything below it suffered from the weather. |

New pieces were spliced into the existing framework. |

The crossbrace was reusable, but the sill and horizontal
brace below it were made new. After everything was assembled, it was primed. |

The main frame was treated with water seal and then primed
with damp proof red primer. Next will be cutting new siding, priming and
painting with installation soon after. |
