Before this blog was started, beginning in 1995 Frank and I kept computer logs of our activities, which are still occasionally useful for reference purposes. (Before that, I kept handwritten logbooks, which are still in existence.) However, computer files can easily get lost or corrupted, so we have decided to copy these files onto the blog for safekeeping and reference. It's a good question as to whether these will ever be useful to anybody else, except as a cure for insomnia, but here they are for your viewing pleasure.

The IRM is a champion Car Barn builder. I know that car Barn 15 is being planned, I am glad to hear that the an extension for the Streetcar Shop/ Car Barn Four is also being planned.

Actually plans have changed slightly. Barn 16 will be built next, and the grading for that has just been completed. Grading for Barn 12 is now underway.
Yards 16 and 12 are being graded. Meanwhile, barn 15 is definitely the next new barn that will go up. 12 may be a barn someday, but 16 is more than likely to remain a 6 track yard.
I got a good kick out of reading 1995 and 1996, including the time I lost the fight with the trap one morning…… thanks for humoring the kid with 1000 questions……
