Just when you thought things couldn't get any stranger, we receive a message from our old friend Kirk Warner, who is on tour in Russia. He writes:
IRM members talk about Chicago "bowling alley" rapid transit cars. The new
Moscow subway cars provide a new version of "bowling alley" cars. There are
no interior doors from one end of the train to the other end. The cars are
articulated.

Some of the subway cars in Paris are just like this too. And it's a really cool perspective when the train is moving and the tunnels curve left to right and up and down. Feels like you're in the belly of a giant snake!
In Soviet Russia, alley bowls YOU!
