Many thanks to Richard Schauer, who late last week sent along this update of progress on Chicago Transit Authority trolley bus 9631 at an off-site contractor in Elgin for repainting:
This week's brief update: Body work continues at a reasonable pace. The front end is now completed and the curb side is about halfway done. As you'll see in the second picture, there was an employee at work on it while I was there.
After the curb side and back end are completed below the belt rail, the upper part should go relatively quickly. The worst parts of that are at the upper corners.
