Many thanks to Richard Schauer for forwarding along this report of the exciting result to the CTA 9631 repainting saga!
Here's what you've all been waiting for! 9631 was rolled out of the paint booth today, mainly to paint the ad racks and rub rails. It looks pretty sharp, and even the folks at the body shop were impressed after seeing it for the last nine months.
It will be trucked back to IRM next week. Then follows lots of detail and reassembly work!

Paul Hough remember s the really fast pick up at green lights and freezing when the bus waited at a turnaround plenty of heat when the bus was cruising down Pulaski! Our but turned out beautifully!
