Gregg Wolfersheim sends us a quick snapshot of progress on the Illinois Terminal line car:
The motorman's drop sash on the #2 end is now in place.
Note: In order to open the window, the hinged arm rest is folded in, then the long leather strap is used to help lower the window sash carefully into the wall. Then the arm rest is folded out. The #2 end is the one with the open platform and cable reel support, etc. now at the west end of the car. And Gregg continues to paint siding pieces in the car shop, where it's nice and warm.
