Happy Holidays Railway is now in full swing, and on Saturday everything seemed to be going along well. A lot of people have put in a huge amount of time and effort to make this possible. The North Western bilevel train is stunning.
Chicago cars 4391 and 3142 were providing the streetcar service.
A part of HHR that may not always get the attention it deserves is the Model Railroad display:

And I now have exact measurements for the additional parts to fill in at the bottom of the stiles. And I'll get some caulk that can be applied in low temperatures to seal it all up.
In the shop, there were two recently repainted windows to be put into car 18.
And Buzz was making another window frame for the Pennsy work car:
And here we see Buzz, Gregg, Lee 3, and a couple of others cutting one big timber into smaller blocks. I forget what this was for, but it was loud.
In the afternoon I found Tim, Fred, and Bill busily putting a coat of latex primer on the plywood panels in the new barn 4 extension, so I joined the crew for a while.
When you have enough people the work goes pretty quickly.
The interior walls of Lean Zero had been painted on Wednesday by Pete, Fritz, Tim, and John.
And B&G was preparing to pour a pad outside the people door.
So as usual, there were many various projects being worked on even as HHR continued smoothly. What more could you want?
