We are still working toward the goal of fully funding construction work on Barn 15, planned to be our next storage barn, and we need your help! You can donate to fund indoor storage for any rail equipment department at www.irm.org/barn-15. For their part, the Passenger Car Department has put together the impressive flyer below to detail their priorities for indoor storage. These include some very historic pieces, including fully restored cars that will benefit tremendously from permanently assigned indoor storage. Your help makes a difference!

What cars does the Electric Car Department want to cover?

The Electric Car Department has committed CNS&M 172, CTA 2243-2244, TMER&L L3, and Tri-Cities 483. We’d like to also put CTA 2433-2434 and CA&E 453 in, but they are a bit short at the moment.
Glad to see the 483 is finally in line to go indoors.

If anyone is interested in supporting the indoor storage of either 453 or the 2400's, here's how short they both are, assuming $450/foot of barn space as quoted right now. 453 needs $14,320 to secure its space, and the 2400's need $35,000. It's admittedly a lot, but any contributions can help secure their future indoors. Thank you!
