We were saddened to hear that Ray Pollice, who volunteered regularly in the Freight Car and Electric Car Departments during the 2000s and early 2010s, died unexpectedly of natural causes a few weeks ago at the age of just 59. Ray was a genial guy who was always happy to help out with tough jobs, and at least once or twice he assisted with work on the CA&E cars. Usually he worked with Bob Kutella, who gave Ray the nickname "Poindexter," and he would gamely use that nickname to identify himself. Our condolences go out to Ray's family. Obituary information is here.
