Wednesday Report

Another day of tacking enabled me to finish fastening down the canvas on the 453 along both sides from end to end.  Not too exciting, but slow and steady is the way to get the job done.

Here we see the north side of the car, looking west:

And the south side, also looking west.

Next time I'll start fastening down the west end.  Stretching the canvas over the compound ends of the roof will be more of a challenge.

Of course, there were other people at work, but they were all mostly in the shop.  I didn't get any pictures of what Tim, Pete, Henry, or Gerry were doing on their regular projects.  Pete has been instrumental in developing the new formula for canvas paint in cooperation with Sherwin-Williams, so we'll being using this on the 453 soon.

But late in the day, I stopped in at the shop and saw Roger discussing the new windows that are being made for the Mt. Harvard with Buzz.

As long as I'm busy on the roof, we may have to rely on other people to submit photos of what they're doing.  We're always glad to publish updates.
