In our never-ending series of car cards, this is a larger size card at one end of the 431. The message here seems to be that smoking is as American as hot dogs and baseball. Not nearly as creative as "Chesterfield King Has Everything" though.

TV's Jack Webb was an avid spokesman for Chesterfield.

LSMFT, as I always say. Actually, a few years ago Frank and I talked about trying to produce a replica "LSMFT" car card, but I guess we found better things to do.

Actually, growing up in the early 1980s, my doctor smoked, in the office. Oh how times have changed.
I remember LSMFT (Lucky Strike Means Fine Tobacco) as Lord Save Me From Truman.
